Carnival Concert, Arco Music School, Vienna

On February 23rd, 2025, a cheerful carnival concert of the Arco music school took place in the large hall of the music quarter under the direction of Eliza Schmidt.

The special thing about this concert: All the musicians on stage were children between the ages of 4 and 15 who played their violins with a lot of passion and talent.

The performance began with a colourful mix of well-known children's songs and classical pieces, which the young violinists mastered excellently. In their colourful carnival costumes - from witches and fairies to superheroes - the children not only radiated pure joy, but also impressed with astonishing musical precision. It was clear that many of them had practiced diligently over the past few months in order to demonstrate their skills on this special day.

A highlight of the concert was the harmonious interaction of the younger children, who had only recently started playing the violin. They showed great commitment and mastered their pieces not only with technical sophistication, but also with a lot of heart and energy - an effort that was rewarded by the audience with enthusiastic applause and cheers.

In addition to the music, culinary delicacies also contributed to the festive mood. The children's parents had diligently baked donuts and muffins, which were offered in the foyer of the building. The homemade delicacies were very well received by the guests and created a cosy, happy atmosphere.

Overall, the carnival concert was a complete success, which not only underlined the children's musical talent, but also their sense of community and their joy in making music. The commitment of the young musicians and the support of parents and teachers made the event an unforgettable experience.
