A Memorable Event for Suzuki Guitarists!

The recent Swiss National Suzuki Concert, held in the magnificent Paderewski Hall in Lausanne last November will remain a cherished memory for participants and spectators alike.

Among the 190 musicians present, a group of about twenty young guitarists from across Switzerland stood out for their talent and dedication.  These motivated and well-prepared students delivered a captivating 20-minute performance, showcasing pieces from the Suzuki repertoire up to Book 5. Their energy and enthusiasm delighted the audience, which included families and music enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the Suzuki teaching approach.

The highlight of the evening was the guitarists’ participation in the final body percussion performance alongside the violinists.  This joyful and collaborative musical moment marked a climatic end to the concert, embodying the collective spirit that defines the SUZUKI™ Method.

Organising such a large-scale event required considerable effort, but the unique experience it provided to the young musicians and their families was more than worth it. The concert was a true celebration of music and the Suzuki community, leaving behind beautiful memories and a profound sense of pride.
