Posted by Susanne Fauteck, Piano Teacher, Darmstadt and Langen/Hesse on 30 November 2020

Susanne Fauteck has been teaching SUZUKI™ Piano Classes in for ten years now.
A Jubilee Day was held on Saturday 24 October 2020 to celebrate and a lot of smiling faces of children and their parents were seen on that day.

Due to Corona Virus restrictions in Germany and the lockdown from March to May 2020, all 25 students aged from 6 to 18 years were very motivated to practice the Piano in this time, as most of their hobbies were cancelled.

They very much enjoyed performing their pieces on the Jubilee Day in the Concert Hall of the Music school.
Six concerts “en miniature” sounded throughout the whole day with lovely piano pieces as a birthday gift for the Founder of the  SUZUKI™ Method - Dr. Suzuki.
Beside solo concerts with music of J.S. Bach, L. van Beethoven, F. Liszt and many other composers, two Piano-Duos played music for four hands from W.A. Mozart.

The Concerts were also enriched by the young students of the Suzuki Piano Class of Annelore Fauteck, who had lots of fun in taking part at this special event.

It was a wonderful and inspiring day full of listening to lovely music, one week after the birthday of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998) and ten years after the first SUZUKI™ Piano class in Darmstadt and Langen/Hesse.
