'Give a Child a Teacher' Fundraising Campaign 2021

Give a Child a Teacher

is a special Fundraising Campaign organised by the European Suzuki Association (ESA) each year to raise funds to give more children the opportunity of a SUZUKI™ education in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

This year, Guillem Calvo, SUZUKI™ Violin Teacher, has organised a special
100 days Practice Challenge to raise funds through sponsorship
.  

Get involved.  Give something back.
The ESA are asking all teachers throughout the region to organise 100 days of sponsored practice with their students by asking them to -

  • Commit to practice daily for 100 days, starting this January and finishing by 2 May 2021.
    Here are some Practice Charts to choose from – Squares, Rainbow, Stars, Violin, Pastel, Frog
  •  Send a photo or a video of a practice (no longer than 1 min) to the ESA Office by 31 March 2021.  
    At the end of the challenge a celebratory compilation of all videos and photos sent in will be posted on the ESA website.

Monies can be paid to the ESA either by -

  1. Bank transfer
  2. PayPal

The total amount raised will be announced on the ESA website during June 2021 and will be donated to the SUZUKI™ Teaching Trust (STT) which is a charity concerned with making SUZUKI™ Teaching in music available to children in Europe, Middle East and Africa.  The STT do this by giving financial support to SUZUKI™ Teacher Training projects in countries where there is a need.

The STT have helped to give SUZUKI™ Teachers to children in -
Croatia, Czech Republic,  Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine and Zimbabwe.
